Attack of the Snowmen!

Preparing for the holidays with classic Christmas card art from my collection, the subject today is snowmen, and here are 10 cool examples showcasing why greeting card art from the 50's and 60's was so wonderful: the colors, the textures, the overall design and illustrative talent etc. I'll have more xmas card samples for you as the month rolls along, ENJOY!

You have a Christmas Card collection. That's kind of awesome.

It's not really just a Christmas Card Collection, I collect any greeting card of any holiday or sentiment containing art I like... though to be honest, the cards with a xmas theme do take up nearly a third of the collection (and the "Get Well" cards take up a huge chunk of it too, believe it or not, almost more than all the other holidays combined, minus Valentines.)

I love the style of these snowmen...! The fifth one from the top, who's tipping his hat to the reader, is my favorite. Thanks for sharing, keep 'em coming!

I love that image too Zelda, and that's on the INSIDE of the card! I think if I had produced that card I would've swapped it for the cover image instead.

We'll be taking a look at "the fastest metal cars in the world - YEAR ONE" NEXT!
