KISS vs. The Village People

How awesome is this recently purchased 1980 Montgomery Ward xmas catalog, you still have to ask? This awesome. So which guitar did you want? Choose wisely. Back in the day my friendship with you hinged upon delicate subject matters such as this-- and please note this has NOTHING to do with sexual orientation / preference-- but merely EVERYTHING to do with ROCK & ROLL!!!

I actually kind of like that amp I bet I could crank it way past it's limit for some interesting distortion effects :)

Note that the KISS guitar is a nylon stringed guitar, it probably has no volume and certainly isn't hooking up to that amp. I bet there were a lot of Ace fans really disappointed one xmas!

I can't believe any kid or parent thought they were getting a real electric guitar for those prices! Though the amp placement in the ad seems to imply that they go together.

And apologies, I forgot to include the product details for the S "sex toy" insert...

Well that "Disco" amp seems to be for the hollow body, which really is a "real" guitar--pearl inlays, metal frets, the works!--though maybe not something you'd actually want to play any, ehrm, disco songs with. Although, acoustic disco is probably really cool and I just don't know about it! Mea culpa.
